A$AP Rocky used the AWGE Spring Summer 2027 runway in Paris to introduce upcoming footwear from his ongoing partnership with PUMA. The presentation marked AWGE’s fourth collection and took place in connection with the Paris stop of Rocky’s “DON’T BE DUMB” tour at Accor Arena.
SPRING SUMMER 2027
The runway offered an early look at new versions of the PUMA Suede and Straycat, two silhouettes that already play important roles in Rocky’s work with the sportswear company. Both shoes extend ideas he has developed through archive references, New York street culture and performance-oriented footwear.

Rocky returned to the Suede ’94, a version of the PUMA classic that draws directly from the shoe’s 1990s design. His interpretation references the New York culture that surrounded him while growing up and retains details associated with the 1994 model. PUMA introduced the shoe earlier in 2026 with a raw-edge padded tongue, retro woven label and slimmer tooling. Rocky added a gold PUMA lace keeper and placed the full retro PUMA logo across the quarter panel.
The Suede ’94 connects Rocky’s own history with the silhouette to his current role at PUMA. He has spoken about receiving his first pair of Suedes from his mother and seeing Walt Clyde Frazier wear the model while growing up in New York.

The Straycat takes a more technical direction. Rocky selected the 2005 PUMA Ouninpohja Explorador II from the company archive as the starting point for the model. The original trail shoe carried tire-inspired tread and outdoor details, which Rocky developed further through a Vibram sole, distressed materials and a double-lacing configuration. PUMA also describes the outsole as its first fully co-branded Vibram outsole.
Rocky has already worn the Straycat during performances on the “DON’T BE DUMB” tour, connecting the shoe closely with his current stage wardrobe. PUMA released the model in August 2026 after earlier appearances during Rocky’s US tour.

Footwear formed only part of the PUMA presence at the AWGE show. Styling also incorporated accessories from the A$AP Rocky x PUMA partnership, including the oil slick bag. Together, the shoes and accessories extended the collaboration into the presentation of AWGE’s fourth collection.
The connection continued after the runway. Rocky wore his latest PUMA styles during the “DON’T BE DUMB” concert performance that followed at Accor Arena, linking the fashion presentation directly with his tour wardrobe and stage appearance.

Rocky used the Paris presentation to connect the two sides of his current creative work. The Suede ’94 brings a 1990s New York reference into the partnership, while the Straycat draws from trail footwear and technical construction. Their appearance on the AWGE runway offered another look at how Rocky continues to develop PUMA footwear alongside his own label.
