PUMA Hoops introduces the MB.06 Hills, the latest basketball sneaker from LaMelo Ball’s signature footwear line. The new gray and lime green edition follows the MB.06 Shooting Star and draws inspiration from Ball’s confident, unconventional playing style.

The design addresses the physical demands of basketball, particularly the rapid changes of direction and sudden stops that define Ball’s approach to the game. PUMA combines a low-cut silhouette with a series of technical features that support foot stability, cushioning, and grip during competitive play.

The MB.06 Hills features a dynamic lacing system that helps keep the foot secure during quick cuts and directional changes. A TPU sidewall wrap provides additional lateral support, helping players maintain stability when shifting their weight or pivoting. These components work together to address the demands of fast-paced basketball, where foot security plays an important part in maintaining balance.
PUMA also incorporates responsive cushioning to support players during repeated acceleration and sudden stops. Beneath the shoe, a high-abrasion rubber outsole features a traction pattern that provides grip in multiple directions. The outsole supports sharp pivots and abrupt changes of direction, giving players traction during demanding moments on the court.

Ball’s influence extends beyond the sneaker’s appearance. His playing style informs the wider MB.06 concept, particularly his willingness to attempt difficult shots and take responsibility during decisive moments. PUMA directs the Hills edition toward athletes who share that confidence, including players who demand possession late in the game and approach long-range shooting without hesitation.

The PUMA MB.06 Hills launches October 16, 2026, for $130.
