Miami Art Week has a particular rhythm. Days begin with ambitious plans to visit several exhibitions and inevitably end somewhere entirely unexpected. Between art fairs, gallery openings, dinners, and meetings, the city becomes a constant movement of people and ideas. For DSCENE, December 2025 was especially busy, as we were covering the international art scene while presenting our own cultural project, DSCENE UNFRAMED with D’Puglia.
CARS
With events taking place across Miami Beach and Brickell, having reliable transportation was essential. Maserati joined us as our official automotive partner, providing a beautiful black Grecale with a contrasting white leather interior throughout the week.

The Maserati Grecale:
Italian Design in Miami
The Maserati Grecale brings the Italian manufacturer’s distinctive design language to the luxury SUV category. Its sculpted proportions, prominent Trident grille, and headlights influenced by the MC20 supercar give it a recognisable identity, while its spacious interior makes it suitable for everyday driving.
Our Grecale looked particularly beautiful in black, especially against Miami’s colourful architecture and tropical surroundings. Inside, the white leather upholstery introduced a completely different atmosphere, creating a bright, inviting cabin that I particularly appreciated after long days spent visiting exhibitions.
The interior combines traditional luxury materials with contemporary technology. A 12.3-inch central touchscreen manages infotainment and navigation, while a separate 8.8-inch display provides access to climate controls. The cabin’s thoughtful arrangement and generous passenger space make it comfortable for longer journeys and busy days in the city.
I also liked the balance between its elegant appearance and practical proportions. The Grecale has the presence expected from Maserati, while offering the flexibility of an SUV, something we appreciated throughout our demanding schedule.

Between The Art Fairs
Miami Art Week brings together an extraordinary range of artistic practices, from established international galleries to emerging artists experimenting with new materials and ideas.
Our itinerary included Art Basel Miami Beach, alongside visits to NADA Miami and Untitled Art. Each fair offered a different experience, from major gallery presentations to independent projects and new artistic discoveries.
Moving between them required careful coordination. Miami traffic becomes particularly challenging during Art Week, and even relatively short journeys can demand more time than expected.

Having the Grecale available gave us the freedom to organise our days around the exhibitions and people we wanted to see. We could move between Miami Beach and other parts of the city without arranging separate transportation for every appointment.
The comfortable interior also provided a welcome opportunity to regroup between visits, catch up on messages, and discuss everything we had seen before heading to the next destination.
There was something especially enjoyable about experiencing Miami’s architecture from the car. The streets of South Beach, lined with Art Deco buildings and palm trees, created a beautiful setting for our black Grecale.

Supporting
DSCENE UNFRAMED
The most important part of our visit was the Miami presentation of DSCENE UNFRAMED, developed in collaboration with D’Puglia.
Earlier in 2025, our artist residency in Castro, Southern Italy, brought together international artists to explore the region through different creative disciplines. The experience resulted in Puglia, Unframed, an independent publication documenting their work and personal responses to the destination.
Miami Art Week offered an opportunity to introduce the project to an international audience through a series of events.
Our programme began on November 30 at The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, followed by a special dinner on December 1 celebrating the publication and Vento, a fragrance developed through the residency in collaboration with Osmo. On December 2, we hosted an artist meet-and-greet and book signing at AKA Brickell, bringing together participating artists and members of Miami’s creative community.

Behind each event was an enormous amount of preparation. Between coordinating guests, meeting collaborators, managing schedules, and covering the fairs, our days rarely unfolded exactly as planned.
Maserati’s support made a genuine difference. Having the Grecale available throughout the week helped us move between locations and concentrate on bringing the project to life.

South Beach After Dark
One of my favourite parts of Miami Art Week is how the atmosphere changes after sunset. The exhibition halls gradually empty, while restaurants, hotel bars, private events, and gallery gatherings become the centre of the evening programme.
Our nights frequently took us back to South Beach, where we enjoyed dinners, conversations with friends, and the social side of the international art calendar.
The Grecale felt equally appropriate for these occasions. Its black exterior had an understated elegance, while the light leather interior made returning to the car after a long evening particularly pleasant.
Their support allowed our team to focus more attention on the artists, our publication, and the events we had spent months developing.

A Partnership
Beyond the Road
For DSCENE, collaborations with design-focused brands become especially meaningful when they contribute directly to our creative projects.
Maserati’s association with Italian design, engineering, and performance made the partnership particularly relevant to our editorial interests, which regularly move between fashion, architecture, art, and contemporary culture.
There was also a natural connection between the Italian automotive brand and Puglia, Unframed, a project rooted in Southern Italy and its creative community.
The Grecale accompanied us through the entire experience, from daytime exhibitions and afternoon meetings to evening events and dinners. Its combination of comfort, thoughtful design, and everyday practicality made it a valuable companion during one of the busiest weeks of our year.
By the time Miami Art Week came to an end, I had developed a particular affection for our black Maserati with its beautiful white interior.

What I remember most is the excitement of bringing DSCENE UNFRAMED to Miami, seeing artists reconnect, introducing our publication, and meeting people interested in the project. Maserati helped make those moments possible by supporting everything happening between them.
The Grecale became part of our Art Week experience, connecting the different locations, conversations, and events that defined our time in Miami.
For a project that began on the coast of Puglia and travelled across the Atlantic, having an Italian automotive partner accompanying us through the city felt especially appropriate.
The Maserati Grecale was provided by Maserati as the official automotive partner of DSCENE UNFRAMED during Miami Art Week 2025.
