Is Hedi leaving fashion behind? Well not really, the man responsible for all things skinny in men’s fashion, is teaming up with designers Dieter Reims and Jeff Koons, in a team of 3 guest editors for Wallpapers October issue. These three extraordinary talents have taken time out of their busy schedules to create 20 pages and a cover each. So that’s three versions of the October issue, with three different Guest Editor sections, wrapped up in three unique covers.
So what can you expect? From Hedi Slimane: 10 of 20 exclusive posters by the fashion designer, plus a head to head with artist Thomas Demand. From product designer Dieter Rams: the Ten Commandments on Design – ten essential statements about the essence of design, plus a chat with designer Naoto Fukasawa. And from artist Jeff Koons: a spectacular 16-page homage to Led Zeppelin, plus a catch-up with his friend Stella McCartney.
