This was the 1st menswear collection by the new designers of the Ferre house, newcomers did quite a good job when it came to analyzing DNA of the label, they used all the classic Ferre fabrics, but with implementing the original architecture they added a futuristic twist. “We had to take it into the future,” said Aquilano, and thats what they did, while most of other luxury brands presenting at Mialno Fall Winter 2009. were more interested into simple copying of past trends, Aquilano and Rimondi brought the 60’s into 70’s period to another level, a future level. The oversized did state future, but it also stated winter, besides the stunning warm coats and scarves, skinny suits were impeccable, the collection was sure a highlight of FW 2009.10.
