After an international contest with 81 initial participants, and later shortlist of 9, UK based firm Adams Kara Taylor and BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group of Denmark have been selected as architects for the new Tallin City Hall in Estonia. The contest was organized by the City Planning Department and the Union of Estonian Architects, the exact completion time on a 35 000 sq m plot near Linnahall building in Tallin is not yet defined, due to hard times in European economy officials do not want to predict the date, but they are sure the project will be built sooner or later.
