For the next Fall Winter 2010.11 Jil Sanders designer Raf Simons gave us a precise city tailoring with an unconstrained appeal. A tailored line injected with energy, focusing on shape and a forth-looking approach, using texture and construction to define a confident masculinity. Three essentials the caban, the blazer and the knit pointed into a redefinition of the menswear heritage. With his preference for pastels, Simons enriched the line with bright interventions of ivory, beige, oyster and dove. While the asymmetrical necklines, monochrome patchwork and abstract swirls traced the outline of fine knitwear and doubled waistcoats, softly worn over tailored blazers.
