One day left of the four day Milan fashion week and we have hundreds of images pilled up, so here is a first selection, taken on the very packed first day. The absolute highlight was certainly the Burberry Prorsum show with equally worthy of mention Roberto Cavalli and noted John Varvatos and Jil Sander.

With a surprise Raf Simons has decided to go black, not completely but it has dominated both the runway scene and the collection. A bold choice of colour for the summer.
We will talk about Burberry Prorsum some more, the collection follows the path set by the pre-SS12 one, at the same time the show itself was once again impeccable.
The classic lines got a rock edge in the interpretation by John Varvatos.
Met again with Sandra from Sandra's Closet at the Roberto Cavalli show, Sandra has worn the Matthew Williamson skirt and a watch by Roger Dubuis.
Cavalli show was opened by supermodel Jon Kortajarena and the chic looks were very much the responsibility of Roberto's son Daniele Cavalli.
