Missoni’s 80’s vibe fall collection entitled “Knit me Up !” was a colorful fusion of sexy body-conscious silhouettes for which Angela Missoni credited artist Vanessa Beecroft’s work as inspiration. Paired with oversize jackets and jacquard leggings, the looks were accessorized with playful fringe earrings , fierce eyewear, calfskin boots and laminated minimal structured handbags.
The graphic designs of the Memphis Group were styled with layered lurex knitwear which created a look faithful to the iconic Missoni Zig Zag identity. Considered the decade of “more is more”,big shoulders and daring hairstyles designers are now breathing new life into the era’s fashion signature styles.
