Discover Katie Eary’s first womenswear collection presented during the ongoing London Fashion Week. Made in collaboration with Cartoon Network’s Powerpuff Girls, the collection features tomboy cuts, bold prints and skate street luxe.
I’m a big fan of The Powerpuff Girls and I was so excited to partner with Cartoon Network for my debut womenswear collection at London Fashion Week. I wanted to take the three superhero sisters with me into a new era of female empowerment. My collection celebrates diversity and breaking down gender stereotypes, so I’ve combined my signature prints with luxe materials to signify boldness and grace. I hope my collection truly inspires a new generation of young women to feel empowered. – Katie Eary
Combining 80’s Skate graphics, 70’s cut and of course the Powerpuff Girls forming Eary’s Version of ‘Space Cowgirl’. ‘Cow Print’ has been replaced with leopard in Mints, eye bleeding reds and flesh tones. Classic cowboy equestrian print has been updated with our new hero’s- The Powerpuff girls, and Mojo JoJo adorn the classic Eary silk shirt. Katie reinvents the ‘cowboy’ through western cut’s and dramatic tiered denim skirts, Jeans with saddle inserts and layered with fringed chaps. Oversized ski hoodies are fabricated in silk bonded neoprene with pirate cowboy hats and 70’s skate cut polo’s. Katie Eary’s AW18 collection takes you on a journey through space; Skating down the ice caps of Pluto to the cloverleaf skate bowls on Mars. – from Katie Eary
