Thom Browne presented his Fall Winter 2018.19 collection entitled Old School TB, during the recently finished Paris Fashion Week.

Elaborations on a jacket and a pair of trousers. This way and that way. That’s it. Reassessing the foundations as a strict play with proportions. The sack shapes, high armholes and abbreviated lines that ignited thom browne menswear get to the fore. The sportswear trait of the TB repertoire brings to real sportswear. The tailored meets the technical. Old school: a tight edit and a sharp focus. Classic tailoring in knit fabric, classic tailoring with padding and skiing articulations, down-filled classic tailoring. Tailoring as sportswear, sportswear as tailoring. That’s it. Old school around the clock, from the business suit to black tie attire, rethought in proportions, use and construction. An old school selection of flannels, donegal tweeds, frescoes in an old school array of camel & grey, red, white and blue, black. equally old school: irish knits, fair isle knits, TB tartans, solids.
