Spring Summer 2020 Womenswear
“Influences of working clothes’ utilitarian details and the fishermen’s everyday clothes counteract today’s oversized fitting and sportswear clothes. “Albaioses” are a strong influence on the silhouettes and the details of the garments, as well as the excess of pockets seen in vests and the reinforced trousers for heavier jobs. Workpieces are deconstructed and reinterpreted, both in their form and concept. This is all connected to the brand’s DNA where fabrics are sewn together with unfinished ends and seams’ details, appliqués and garments within others garments.
Inspired by raw materials and womenswear delicate fabrics, the collection fabrics are linen, cotton, silk, waterproof fabrics and two colours of denim which establishes a bridge between classic and contemporary, the past and the present. The colour palette refers to the colours of the clothes from these men and women of the sea. Black, cobalt blue, orange, earth shades and dry blue make up the palette.“
