After releasing select items at a Paris pop-up a year ago, we finally know the date of the release of IKEA’s limited edition collection designed in collaboration with world-renowned creative Virgil Abloh. Swedish furniture retailer finally announced that its much-anticipated collection will be available in stores on November 1st.

The ethos of the collection is to add an artful quality to anonymous objects. – Virgil Abloh, designer

Called MARKERAD (marked in Swedish), the collection is turning streetwear fashion into hyper-relevant furniture.

The collection consists of a range of fashion-forward homewares that cater towards fluid and contemporary living, including a day bed, table, chair, mirror, lighting, bed textiles, cabinet and accessories.

The countdown has begun for the launch of MARKERAD – a limited collection c/o @virgilabloh. It will launch during the first week of November 2019. “It’s about elevating the anonymous, everyday icons that we use without noticing.” IKEA in your local market can share more details about the release. #IKEA #IKEAtoday #VirgilAbloh #IKEAxVirgil #MARKERAD
