Euphoria star, Zendaya has revealed plans for a potential bridge episode of the hit show on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Euphoria was renewed for a second season in July of last year and just days into preparing the filming, the production was halted in March due to coronavirus.
She told guest host Ben Platt that the producers are working on a intermediary episode with limited crew, while they figure out how to return to shoot the rest of season 2. I don’t really know how to describe it, but an episode that we can do with a limited amount of people in a safer environment that can give people something… and give everyone who loves the show a little something so we have something to live on until we are able to go into season two. – she said.
Zendaya has been nominated for her first Emmy Award for her performance as the introverted high school student Rue in season 1 of HBO’s Euphoria. She told Platt she’s thinking she might go full red carpet glam in her living room for the Emmy Awards next month which are being held remotely as a virtual ceremony. I do want to dress up. I still want to have the experience. –Zendaya said. It’ll be probably just my family over here, but I definitely want to pull a look and maybe just walk my living room carpet. – she added. The awards are scheduled to be handed out on Sunday, September 20.
It is still unknown when Euphoria will return with season two, but we might not have to wait as long as we think for new episodes.
