FALL WINTER 2021 MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
“Solid Pleats – This is the brand’s first series using 100% recycled polyester fabric. It has the same finish and texture as the original fabric, available in ink black this season for easy mixing and matching, and in five styles including the standard pants (the style pleated around the waist and hem) with pleated front detail. Basket – This print series features hand-drawn motifs of African-inspired baskets. The brush strokes of the print depict the quality of hand-woven baskets, giving the garments a lively impression as they move. Tailored Pleats – As one of the brand’s standard series featuring pleated jersey fabric in sharp silhouettes, this season, it introduced new styles such as a slim, short-length jacket and pants integrated with a waist apron, available in an understated color palette.
Tweed Pleats – This is the first pleated series that uses fabric woven with yarn-dyed polyester threads. The fabric is warm like wool, but is lighter in weight and wrinkle-resistant, available in classic styles refined to a simple, modern cut. Press Coat – This coat series features pseudo double sleeves, where the sleeves around the elbow are tucked inward and then pressed. The fabric was made from threads with a hollow core for lightness while the design adds a little modern touch to the classic form. Pe Deck Shoes-Hi – HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE’s third series of the shoe project with WAKOUWA uses chambray fabric for its upper material, and is available in two colors. The sheen of the fabric gives the shoes a formal look while bringing out the understated form.” – from HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE
