Luxury house LOUIS VUITTON enlists American actress and civil rights activist Laura Harrier to star in their Spring 2021 Twist bags campaign. Louis Vuitton Twist Bag is one of brand’s most popular bags, launched in 2015, and reimagined each season. For the Spring 2021, new models feature feminine braided embellishments, a monochrome twist-lock or a large textile strap, and new vibrant shades.
While speculations of Netflix‘s season two of Hollywood are still circling around, Harrier is busier than ever. Harrier is confirmed as the cast of the much talked about drama The Starling by Theodore Melfi alongside superstars such as Melissa McCarthy. Media reported Netflix acquiring the global rights for the movie for 20 million American dollars, with release date still not revealed.
Harrier is also no stranger to the fashion industry, her first big campaign was her shoot for Kenzo Fall Winter 2016 collection alongside acting legends Natasha Lyonne and Mahershala Ali. Talking about young women of colour with actress Halle Berry for her cover story of V Magazine shoot Harrier shared: “I want young black girls to feel seen. Representing young women of color is what I care about most.“

Harrier is also now a regular for Louis Vuittion and one of Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquiere’s favourite new stars. Harrier has also appeared in Louis Vuitton’s pre fall 2019 campaign shoot alongside an impressive female actresses cast such as Thandie Newton, Chloe Grace Moretz and Michelle Williams to only a name a few.
Louis Vuitton Twist bag now available in various sizes becomes the French fashion house’s one of the most in demand on the go women’s bags. The Spring Summer 2021 re-edit of the bag by Ghesquiere and his team make its even more accessible and modern.
