FALL WINTER 2021 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS

“Having established a strong presence in the world of knitwear, Glemaud wanted to push the technical aspects of the fabric. This season he developed a patchwork knit jacquard designed as a single piece with no linking. Another group, made of knit pinstripe fabricated in cotton cashmere and recycled rayon stripe, brings a sartorial versatility to knitwear. The creative hand that went into design and construction of each of the pieces pushed the norms of the traditional – making the collection tactile yet graphic.

The knitwear seen throughout the collection consists of a mixture of natural yarns – merino wool and cotton cashmere. The inspiration this season was New York, the yellow cabs and the chain-link fences that can be seen throughout the city. Also, while attending the March on Washington in August last year, Glemaud snapped a picture of a woman with long beaded braids and a bright yellow graphic t-shirt, which reinforced the collections color and patter” – from Victor Glemaud
