Fashion brand VITELLI presented their Spring Summer 2022 Collection, that was inspired by the mythology of the “Overland” (Hippie trail), on September 24th, during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The collection explores The Overland – a route traveled by spiritual wanderers for approximately 40 years, originally from Istanbul to Kabul, later to Kathmandu, and then to Goa. For the season, Vitelli Family imagined they were on a hippie trail journey: Crossing boundaries, blending in, exploring the local stories, architecture, and clothes. The collection is entirely made from Italian fashion waste.

“Like the sand you bring back home from a trip in the seam of your trousers or the dust on your shoes after a trip on the road, we fueled our collection with bits and traces of the beautiful else. Desert shades and scents of mystical places were spread across the Doomboh clothes, and algae/yarn mixed surfaces, all composed and crafted in-house.The Organic Knitting Theater (OKT) worked again with a base of harvested “end-of-cone” yarns, knitted with domestic machines onto oversize t-shirts and kaftan-like vests, tight tops and ribbed pijama pants, distorted tops and intricate stitch sweaters. The crochet accessories section was entirely made by hand using the “Tunisian lock” and inspired by Cappadocia, with its ingenious cave housing.” – from Vitelli
