Fashion brand VIVETTA presented its Fall Winter 2023 Collection, that explores innocence and femininity, transformation and change in fashion, on February 24th, during the recently finished Milan Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by American pop girl group of the 1960s The Shangri-Las, and The Lisbon sisters from Sofia Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides. For the season the late Sixties meet the Nineties, while nightwear embraces daywear. The designer plays with contrasts such as retro and contemporary, masculine and feminine. Color palette includes delicate pastels and sensual scarlets.
FALL WINTER 2023.24 WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS
“Lace-edged pieces include skirts, blazers and tiny, matelasse slip dresses with metallic threads running through the hemlines to shape gravity-defying waves — the same ones sculpting the necklines of knitwear with a magical flair. Bows, expressing an innocent approach to femininity, play with scale to create refined details and more. Bows enhance crepe de chine evening gowns and inform precious embroideries on coats and illusion tulle; they even become larger-than-life 3D drapery emphasising outerwear and long crepe de chine slip dresses. Bows are also worn to tie long blond braids together. Echoing the dreamy surrealism cherished by the designer is the image of tight, thin braids made of hair woven together, now chasing each other as they create the season’s print. A celebration of movement and freedom, the braid print reflects the attributes of created beings: infinite, in constant motion, symmetrical and harmonious.” – from Vivetta
