Jisoo, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BLACKPINK, takes the cover of W Korea Magazine‘s April 2024 edition lensed by fashion photographer Kim Shinae. In charge of styling were Choi Kyungwon and Go Yoonjin, with fashion direction from Lee Yejin, and set design by Park Jooyoung. Beauty is work of hair stylist Lee Seonyoung, makeup artist Oh Gayoung, and manicurist Park Eunkyung. For the covers k-pop superstar is wearing jewelry from Cartier.
South Korean media outlet Hankook Ilbo reported that Jisoo has once again showcased her generous spirit. The singer and actress made headlines by donating all the profits earned from her YouTube channel to Save the Children, a prominent charity organization dedicated to supporting children in need worldwide.
The substantial donation made by Jisoo will be directed towards a noble cause – the creation of mangrove forests in the Ca Mau region of Vietnam. This initiative is part of Save the Children’s ongoing mangrove planting project, aimed at restoring and preserving coastal ecosystems. Mangrove forests play a crucial role in safeguarding coastal areas, mitigating the impacts of natural disasters, and providing habitats for various marine species.
Jisoo, who launched her YouTube channel in January 2023, has amassed an impressive following of 4.99 million subscribers on the platform. Even before her contribution, she had expressed her intention to donate the earnings generated from her channel to charitable causes. Her philanthropic gesture serves as a proof of her commitment to making a positive impact on society and helping those in need.
In addition to her charitable endeavors, Jisoo has also been making waves in the fashion industry. She recently secured a prestigious role as the face of Self-Portrait, a renowned contemporary fashion brand. This collaboration marks Jisoo’s debut in a high-profile fashion campaign, coinciding with an imoportant moment in her career as she unveils her own agency, Blissoo, to the world.
