Presenting the Fall Winter 2024 collection, UNDERWATER, LITKOVSKA embraces the theme of new beginnings, drawing inspiration from the mountains and the rejuvenating essence of water. Photographer Junri Kamiwaki captured an exclusive backstage glimpse at the show, exclusively for DSCENE Magazine.
BACKSTAGE
Designer Lilia Litkovska introduces a clean slate concept, showcasing classic designs alongside fitted dresses. The collection features fish prints symbolizing rebirth and purification, a motif deeply rooted in various folk traditions. Scarves wrapped in circles denote the non-linear nature of time and the endless cycle of change. Presented during Paris Fashion Week at L’eclaireur concept store, the event incorporated special invitations with the designer’s Himalayan-inspired artwork. Models sported hiking gear, conveying a message of peace and empathy, reminiscent of the Himalayan culture. After the show, wishes were hung on a symbolic tree, and postcards from Litkovska’s Himalayan photo diaries were distributed as souvenirs, encapsulating the essence of the event.
