The 2024 Oscars celebrated outstanding film performances of the year, while the pre-event red carpet showcased actors flaunting their finest fashion moments, concluding an exciting awards season with their most impressive outfits. Numerous celebrities opted for attire that blended elements of tradition and modernity, producing looks that were simultaneously timeless, glamorous, and innovative.  Margot Robbie stood out prominently, stunning in a black sequin Versace gown. Her selection was notably refreshing, especially given her recent preference for pink attire during the Barbie press tour. She wore a metal mesh off-shoulder column gown from the Fall-Winter 2024 collection, featuring signature draping at the waist.

McKinnon’s choice exuded timeless elegance and contemporary flair, showcasing her impeccable sense of style and confidence.

In the last moments of the evening, Zendaya made a striking appearance, donning a breathtaking one-shoulder gown by Giorgio Armani Privé. Crafted from sumptuous antique rose silk, the gown featured an intricate embroidered palm tree motif, elegantly complemented by a strapless bodice adorned with gunmetal paillettes. As a Bulgari ambassador since 2020, Zendaya accessorized her ensemble with exquisite pink-gold high jewelry from the renowned Italian brand, including earrings featuring triangular-cut morganites totaling 42.19 carats.

The Maestro nominee for Best Actress evoked classic Hollywood elegance with a custom Balenciaga gown, meticulously recreated by Demna from a design by Cristobal Balenciaga’s Winter 1951 collection. Crafted from luxurious black velvet, the gown cascaded gracefully to a scalloped fishtail hem, resting atop 150 meters of pleated silk tulle. Carey Mulligan accessorized the ensemble with opera-length gloves and Fred Leighton earrings featuring old mine-cut diamonds totaling 20 carats, adding to the timeless allure of her look.

Charles Melton wears ©Ferragamo

Charles Melton attended the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Los Angeles dressed in a Ferragamo black wool mohair double-breasted tailored suit paired with a white cotton poplin shirt and black leather square toe derbys from the Spring-Summer 2024 Collection. His ensemble was curated by stylist Samantha McMillen.

America Ferrera wears ©Versace

America Ferrera donned a bespoke Atelier Versace floor-length column gown made from pink metal mesh, featuring a distinctive fluted bust and crisscross straps at the back. This intricately designed piece required the expertise of seven artisans from the Atelier and took a total of 400 hours to complete.

Emma Stone wears ©Louis Vuitton

Emma Stone, the unexpected victor in the Best Actress category for her performance in Poor Things, graced the occasion in a mint cloqué jacquard gown featuring a tulip-constructed bustier, a skirt with a train, and mint satin pumps. Additionally, Emma Stone accessorized her ensemble with a white gold, sapphire, and diamond necklace and ring from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry collection, along with white gold and diamond rings from the Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection.

The ensemble was elegantly complemented with Cartier diamonds.

Florence Pugh wears ©Del Core

It pooled at her ankles and trailed behind her as she walked and epitomized elegance and sophistication.

Eilish opted out of the traditional ultra-formal dress for the ceremony, opting for separates instead. She sported an ensemble from Thom Browne‘s fall 2024 collection, featuring an oversized black and white coat crafted from black denim ribbon tweed layered over a white tuxedo shirt, paired with a sleek, slim-fitting black ankle-length skirt.

Anya Taylor Joy wears ©Dior
Anya Taylor Joy wore a remarkable silver-gray garment, featuring a voluminous skirt adorned with layers of sparkling petal-shaped flaps. This design was a tribute to Christian Dior’s iconic Junon dress from his Fall/Winter 1949–1950 collection. (It’s worth noting that Natalie Portman also wore a similar ensemble at Cannes last year.)
Keleigh Teller and Miles Teller wear ©Celine
