Day two of Milan Fashion Week took us to the outskirts of the city to celebrate MSGM’s 15th anniversary with its latest collections. For 15 years, Massimo Giorgetti has infused MSGM with his signature flamboyance, and this show was no exception. The venue, a white space adorned with graffiti and painted glass casings, set the stage for an unforgettable experience. Just before the show began, artists hurled blue, green, yellow, and red paintballs, mimicking the season’s vibrant palette and startling the audience. The sounds of buzzing bees and crashing waves accompanied the co-ed looks, reflecting Giorgetti’s vision of modern Italian life with an oceanic theme. The collection kicked off with a slouchy suit paired with a vibrant red paper hat, followed by a mix of floral prints, patent leather trench coats, and knitted tops featuring geometric illustrations and sea animal motifs. The debut of the MSGM x New Balance collaboration added a sporty edge, with models sporting mustard sneakers with red laces.
