In partnership with Brooklyn-based TΓ΄mTex, Liu also advances her sustainability efforts, using an innovative biomaterial derived from recycled seafood shells and mushrooms to create a cruelty-free, biodegradable alternative to leather.
The showβs immersive experience deepens the narrative, placing attendees amidst a symbolic gathering of disciples and initiates. Daffodils, sewn into garments using the ancient quilting technique of trapunto stitching, signify resilience, while also referencing their use in Pagan spells for empowerment.
