Nike and NIGO have joined forces for their first-ever collaboration, launching an exclusive Air Force III silhouette and a bold apparel collection. The debut of the Nike x NIGO partnership taps into the legendary designer’s deep-rooted influence in shaping contemporary streetwear, creating a cultural moment that fuses fashion, music, and art.

At the heart of the collection is NIGO’s reimagining of the rugged and bold Air Force III, designed with a premium mix of genuine leathers and textiles. The silhouette is paired with a classic midsole foam and rubber outsole, staying true to the original AF3. Each pair is housed in a custom box that includes a patch and pin, with subtle hints of future releases woven into the packaging.
NIGO, a cultural archivist and pioneer of Tokyo’s streetwear scene, draws inspiration from a lifetime of pop culture references—spanning movies, music, and television. His iconic vision shines through in both the footwear and apparel, bringing an unmatched level of detail and storytelling to each piece. The collection features a standout varsity jacket and hoodie, infused with NIGO’s favorite Japanese cartoon influences, along with versatile T-shirts that complete the look.
“Nike truly has many masterpieces,” Nigo says. “The AF3 is a hidden masterpiece that I remember loving at the time. Through my first collaboration with Nike, I want to reintroduce everyone to its magnificence.”
“When I decided to work with Nike, I went to the Nike World Headquarters and drew a lot of inspiration from the archives, the lab and the team working there,” Nigo says. “Everything I saw had a great influence on the project. There are still many things yet to come, so please look forward to the Nike and Nigo project. It’s the beginning of a long and exciting journey.”
Exclusive to select markets, including Japan and China, the collection also introduces a playful version under the name Nike x OGIN—a nod to the global reinterpretation of NIGO’s work.
The Nike x NIGO Air Force III and apparel collection will debut on September 28 at Otsumo Plaza in Tokyo, humanmade.jp, and the “I Know Nigo 2” pop-up in New York, with a global launch following on October 4 via SNKRS and select retail locations.
