James Harden has officially revealed the Spring Summer 2025 colorways for his latest signature sneaker, the adidas Harden Vol. 9. Taking to Instagram, the NBA star gave fans a first look at the six striking iterations, each set to roll out over the coming months.

The lineup kicks off with the exclusive “Year of the Snake” edition, available in China starting Boxing Day. Following this, the “Cyber Metallic” colorway – worn by Harden during his on-court debut – will drop on January 25. The “Pearlized” arrives on February 22, succeeded by the vibrant “Metamorphosis” on March 15, the fiery “Hell Cat” on April 5, and the icy cool “Ice Metallic” on May 10.
Each colorway brings unique character to the adidas Harden Vol. 9, featuring a neoprene bootie that provides a sock-like fit for enhanced support and flexibility. Synthetic overlays add a sleek, futuristic aesthetic: deep blue for “Year of the Snake,” silver for “Cyber Metallic,” crisp white for “Pearlized,” green for “Metamorphosis,” bold red for “Hell Cat,” and light blue for “Ice Metallic.”
The design features a flowing curves and subtle branding details adding a dynamic touch. The shoe is grounded by a carbon fiber heel cup, proudly adorned with the iconic Three Stripes and Harden’s signature logo, completing the look.
Set to launch globally, these colorways continue to push the boundaries of style and performance. Basketball enthusiasts and sneaker fans alike can look forward to the release of the adidas Harden Vol. 9 SS25 collection starting this December.
