Prada’s SS25 campaign is all about subtlety and personal expression, and it’s captured perfectly through the lens of Steven Meisel. The luxury brand enlisted actor Harris Dickinson, best known for his role in Babygirl, to embody the spirit of the collection. Known for his effortless charisma, Dickinson is shown in candid moments, with natural details like half-popped collars and casual tucks. These everyday sensibilities underscore the emphasis on individual expression, allowing his character to shine without the distraction of overt branding.

The campaign features a minimalist aesthetic that highlights simplicity, with a focus on clean lines and classic silhouettes. One standout look includes a black camp collar shirt paired with black pleated trousers and loafers. This understated combination represents the quiet sophistication that Prada is known for, favoring subtlety over bold statements. The lack of excessive logos or embellishments allows the viewer to focus on the interplay between the clothes and the actor’s persona.

One look in particular recalls the office-ready costume design of Babygirl, with Dickinson wearing a light blue long-sleeve shirt paired with black trousers. The ensemble is completed with an oversized distressed leather handbag, which adds a touch of casual luxury to the otherwise formal outfit. The styling in this image highlights Prada’s knack for blending formal wear with contemporary casual elements, mixing comfort and sophistication.

Prada’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection also embraces a nostalgic throwback to the 1970s, incorporating vintage-inspired pieces. Another ensemble features Dickinson in a shiny leather overcoat, paired with a grey v-neck sweater, taupe boot-cut trousers, and yellow sneakers, an effortlessly cool mix of classic and contemporary.

In another set of looks, Prada continues to explore texture and layering. Dickinson is seen in an ultra-layered outfit featuring a tan overcoat, a burgundy V-neck sweater, and white high-water cargo pants. The outfit stands out with the addition of patent leather monk shoes, which feature prominent fringe details, further elevating the otherwise laid-back ensemble. This attention to detail reinforces the collection’s commitment to offering pieces that are both stylish and functional.

Prada’s Spring/Summer 2025 campaign delivers a message of understated elegance and personal expression. The collaboration with Harris Dickinson, paired with Meisel’s signature photography, brings forth a collection that speaks to modern sensibilities while maintaining the brand’s legacy of sophisticated luxury. The minimalist styling and emphasis on vintage-inspired looks reflect a nuanced approach to fashion, one that focuses on individualism and timelessness rather than flashy trends.
