Damian Lillard took center stage at NBA All-Star Weekend 2025, not just for his clutch performance but also for the reveal of his latest signature sneaker, the Adidas Dame X. The nine-time All-Star, fresh off hitting a game-winning shot, debuted the new model in its “Dame’s Light” colorway, marking the next chapter in his long-running partnership with Adidas.

The Dame X builds on the foundation set by its predecessor, the Dame 9, which Lillard introduced at last year’s All-Star Weekend before later debuting a BAPE collaboration in August 2024. This new silhouette follows Adidas Basketball’s recent push for sleek, futuristic designs, featuring strong linework across the upper and a sculpted sole unit optimized for on-court performance.
The debut “Dame’s Light” colorway is a mix of vibrant hues, starting with a bright orange toe section, accented by a small black Three Stripes logo. From there, the shoe transitions into a “Lime Burst” wavy upper, paired with a matching outsole for a striking visual effect. Blue accents land on the lining and laces, while black detailing on the tongue and collar rounds out the design.
Lillard teased the Dame X on Instagram, revealing that the shoe will be available starting June 28 via Adidas and select retailers, priced at $90 USD. While only the “Dame’s Light” colorway has been shown so far, more versions of the model are expected to follow throughout the summer.
With Adidas Basketball continuing to evolve its high-performance sneaker designs, the Dame X arrives as a key release in its 2025 lineup. The model not only reflects Lillard’s play style, dynamic, sharp, and unrelenting, but also reinforces his long-standing influence on the basketball footwear market.
