Nike is bringing back the Air Max 95 Pink Foam in April 2025, revisiting one of the most sought-after colorways from the silhouette’s modern era. First introduced in 2020, the Pink Foam quickly gained attention within the sneaker community – and outside it – after public figures like Kim Kardashian were spotted wearing pairs. Now, the model returns with retooled cushioning and upgraded build quality in time for the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95.
While the original 1995 launch of the Air Max 95 introduced groundbreaking design and visible forefoot Air units, the Pink Foam version takes those same anatomical principles and adds a fresh spin. The colorway features a layered suede upper that fades from soft grey to dark Gunsmoke, echoing the iconic gradient design of the original “Neon” colorway. On the 2025 edition, mesh remains on the upper for breathability, while Pink Foam accents bring a subtle punch to the lace loops, mini Swoosh at the heel, and the visible Air chambers underfoot.

The midsole now houses Nike’s Big Bubble setup, a visible Air Max unit that restores the larger volume and structure of the original tooling from the ‘90s. The horizontal seam that once defined the OG Air units is also present, signaling a closer adherence to the original design language.
Though the “Pink Foam” isn’t an archival colorway from 1995, it has earned a cult following since its 2020 debut. Initially overlooked, the Nike Air Max 95 Pink Foam gained momentum on resale platforms after celebrity exposure and limited availability. The spike in demand pushed secondary market prices far above retail, despite the shoe being a general release without a co-branded storyline. Its popularity proved durable, even years after its initial drop.

According to Nike, the updated Pink Foam edition follows the design adjustments made to the 2025 reissue of the Air Max 95 “Neon.” These updates include improved materials, better toe box shape, and cleaner gradient transitions across the upper. The changes are subtle but significant for those familiar with the line’s long history of reissues. Early looks shared by insiders have praised the shape and comfort, noting that the retro finally restores wearability for long days without compromising structure.
Underneath the upper, a black midsole and outsole round out the build, keeping the visual weight of the sneaker grounded. The outsole features multiple Air units tuned for different pressure points across the heel and forefoot. These structural choices follow Nike’s original approach to anatomical responsiveness, a concept first realized in the Air Max 95 series and now updated for 2025.

The Air Max 95 Pink Foam (HJ5996-001) will be available exclusively in women’s sizing and is set to release on April 25, 2025, via the SNKRS app, Nike.com, and select Nike Sportswear retailers. Retail price is confirmed at $180 USD.

180 USD is pretty overpriced if you ask me…. 100 sure. But not sure this old model in just a very non inspiring colorway is the thing to go with Nike peeps.
Yea I feel like 180 is steep! Back in the day when I had these I think I paid 70/80 bucks for them. All of these sneakers are overpriced nowadays in my opinion.
