Lamborghini took part in two automotive events on Lake Como over the weekend, Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este and Fuoriconcorso, bringing a selection of historic models that reflect both its design evolution and racing involvement.
CARS
At Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the company presented a 1972 Miura SV, entered in Class C: “Renaissance: The Post-War European Sports Car Comes of Age.” Finished in red, the car had previously been certified by Lamborghini Polo Storico in 2018. It was the only Lamborghini officially entered in the concours competition. As the final development of the Miura line, the SV represents the most powerful version of a model often credited with influencing the concept of the modern supercar. This particular Miura had also appeared earlier this year at The ICE in St. Moritz.
Simultaneously, Lamborghini presented several vehicles at Fuoriconcorso, held at Villa Grumello and Villa Sucota. The event’s 2025 edition, themed “Velocissimo,” focused on racing cars. Among the brand’s contributions was a Diablo SVR, which recently underwent the inspection process at Sant’Agata Bolognese to begin the Polo Storico certification. Also featured was a Lamborghini Formula 1 single-seater from the company’s museum collection.
Another vehicle on display was the Countach LP400 S known as the “Pace Car,” used as the Safety Car during the 1981 Monaco Grand Prix. During the event, this Countach received its Certificate of Authenticity from Polo Storico, with a formal handover of the certification book taking place at Villa Grumello.
Lamborghini’s participation across both events reflects a broader focus on historical preservation and brand presence within the European concours and motorsport culture circuit.
