Didit Hediprasetyo presents his Fall Winter 2025 Couture collection shaped by clarity and control. Each silhouette is guided by a consistent tension between sculptural volume and tactile softness. The garments suggest direction without rigidity, offering a composed wardrobe built around balance.
Carla Bruni gives form to the season’s vision. She appears as a presence through which Hediprasetyo’s idea of elegance takes shape – assured, calm, and grounded. Her image informs the tone, not as a source but as a reflection of what the collection holds. She wears the pieces as if they belong to her before they are worn by anyone else.

The collection introduces clean lines early. Tailored coats in hand-washed Indonesian denim hold their form with ease. Jumpsuits in iridescent jasmine Songket follow the body without tension. Elongated jersey gowns are shaped by corset-belts that close in gently at the waist, adding contour while maintaining flow. No construction detail sits on the surface – everything is embedded into the structure.
Sleeves carry the most deliberate focus. They appear as knots across the shoulders, wrap low over the hips, or fall from the sides like a garment half-removed. One dress frames the torso with a sleeved belt that disappears into the seam. Each of these elements points inward, not outward. The sleeve becomes a quiet gesture rather than a statement.

Fabric choice remains central throughout. Indonesian denim, French lace, English duchess satin, and repurposed exotic leathers are used with restraint. The materials offer contrast in weight and texture, never in volume or effect. Moments of glam-rock influence appear through styling, softened by clean lines and subtle tailoring. A loose echo of early MTV culture runs through the palette and cuts, without turning nostalgic.
Eveningwear keeps its focus. Gowns offer sharp lengths with occasional openings that serve the cut. Fringed boleros shift proportion and suggest new ways of framing the body. Full looks in leather and denim keep their structure without resistance. Each outfit holds its line and gives room for movement.
