HUGO teams up with artist Slawn to launch a new look for the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) Formula One Team ahead of the British Grand Prix. Presented inside the Flannels X store in London, the event revealed Slawn’s custom spray-painted livery for the VCARB 02 car. The car, unveiled by the artist himself, carries his signature graffiti style and will race at Silverstone during the Qatar Airways British Grand Prix.

The livery reveal kicked off with Slawn pulling back a graffitied canvas to show the car’s new design. Covered in spontaneous, vivid markings, the car signals a shift in how F1 visuals take shape. Slawn’s raw and fast-paced approach to painting created a surface that reacts to the speed of the sport. The launch event drew drivers Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson, who met guests and fans inside the pop-up.

Flannels X continued to host the after-party, where Slawn returned with paint cans in hand. He customized HUGO x VCARB teamwear shirts on the spot and signed posters of the car design. Each shirt became a one-off artwork. Guests left with items directly altered by the artist. Names like Craig Mitch, Pitstop’s Jake Boys and Fabio Bocca, Maximilian Chester, and Kezia Cook joined the event, adding to the atmosphere around the launch. “Art meets speed, and I brought the madness,” said Slawn. “Big love to HUGO and VCARB for trusting the vision.”

To go with the car reveal, HUGO launched a new capsule collection under its off-track HUGO x RB label. The collaboration, designed with Slawn, introduces a limited run of tailored pieces and streetwear elements marked by his distinct style. Each piece carries a spray-painted motif, faces, eyes, and abstract lines, across familiar silhouettes.

The capsule opens with a single-breasted blazer made from chestnut brown herringbone wool-blend fabric. Slawn adds a black spray-painted caricature to the front, turning a classic into a charged surface. A hoodie in the same material features an oversized face graphic. Both items include removable, numbered sleeve tags that indicate their position in the limited series.

Other pieces include a V-neck polo shirt with paint-splatter details, a crewneck sweatshirt, and oversized tees. The capsule rounds out with a cap featuring Slawn’s face and eye motifs rendered in black, white, and HUGO red. All pieces carry Slawn’s signature alongside the HUGO x RB insignia.

James Foster, SVP of Global Marketing at HUGO BOSS, connected the project to HUGO’s broader goals. “Witnessing the big reveal of Slawn’s fresh, energetic art on the VCARB Team’s new livery and his exciting takeover of the HUGO x RB collab has been inspiring,” he said. “This collaboration is a brilliant demonstration of the power of going your own way.”

To extend the collaboration into London’s streets, HUGO will transform Beau Beau’s café, founded by Slawn, into the HUGO Race Car Café during the weekend of July 6-7. The café, located in East London, will feature custom window vinyls and branded coffee cups. A racing simulator will run throughout the weekend, with prizes for the fastest laps.

The HUGO x RB by Slawn capsule is available in a limited release at Flannels and online at hugo.com across the EMEA region.
