P. Andrade enters the official SS26 menswear calendar of Paris Fashion Week for the first time, becoming the first Brazilian brand to do so. The Spring Summer 2026 collection, titled The Tree is Your Spine, brings together design, ecology, and ancestral knowledge. Pedro Andrade and Paula Kim lead the creative direction, working in collaboration with artist Samuel de Sabóia, who shapes the visual narrative.
The collection explores regeneration and imagines possible futures for life on Earth. From microorganisms to metaphysical frameworks, the collection focuses on fashion’s potential to participate in cultural and ecological awareness. Andrade and Sabóia begin from a shared belief that fashion can shape dialogue through materials, forms, and technology.

Samuel de Sabóia, known internationally for his visual art practice, contributes to the project beyond surface design. His influence informs both the concept and execution, merging symbols of ancestry with references to speculative futures. His presence in the project brings together Brazilian tradition and digital techniques, establishing a link between sensorial fabric and coded language.
The collaboration uses traditional lace as a core material. Instead of treating it as static reference, the collection reworks lace into silhouettes that grow and stretch like biological organisms. The forms suggest new ways to engage with texture and shape. Andrade and Kim move beyond preservation and let the fabric evolve. Lace structures mimic fungi, recalling natural systems of growth and interconnectivity.

The use of smart textiles introduces a technological layer. These textiles, developed with Micheline Maia Teixeira from R-INOVE, carry binary codes embedded directly in the fabric. The codes become visible under UV light and scannable via QR code. They store blockchain data about the product’s lifecycle. Through this method, Andrade enables transparency while linking craftsmanship to information systems.
P. Andrade also explores natural dye processes in collaboration with scientist Ailton Pereira from AIPER. The team replaces traditional pigment systems with bacterial dye techniques sourced from native organisms. These processes avoid toxic waste and shift the focus from extractive systems to regenerative ones.

Kundalini energy provides another point of reference, particularly in the symbolic structure of the collection. The concept positions the tree as a planetary spine, echoing metaphors from energy fields and cosmology. Andrade ties this to a visual narrative through shapes and graphics that build on movement and interconnectedness.
References to anime surface in the collection through visual nods to Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, especially in the treatment of human-nature relationships. The story’s ecological tone serves as a guidepost, influencing the design of silhouettes and accessories. The collection uses organic shapes and textiles that feel alive, moving, glowing, or responding to light.

Collaborations with Oakley, Levi’s, and Puma support this approach. These partnerships do not dominate the collection, but offer space for shared techniques. The pieces developed through these collaborations still follow the aesthetic language set by Andrade and Kim. They allow the brand to enter dialogue with larger platforms without abandoning its conceptual core.
Pedro Andrade and Paula Kim position fashion as a space for inquiry. They design to reflect shifting patterns in ecology, memory, and digital life. Their SS26 collection steps into Paris not just as a debut, but as a proposal for what menswear can include: ancestral materials, smart textiles, and biological dyeing processes. In Brazil, P. Andrade pieces are available exclusively at the Piet flagship store in São Paulo.
