Nike expands its KD 18 series with the Immortalized edition, built around Kevin Durant’s performance during the 2024 Paris Olympics. The new colorway reflects his contribution to Team USA’s gold medal win and arrives at Nike retailers on August 8, 2025, with a retail price of $235 USD.
The upper features a Blue Void mesh base, offering breathability and lightweight support. Overlays in Metallic Gold frame the silhouette, creating a sharp contrast while reinforcing the structure. Pops of University Red appear on the Swoosh and molded sidewalls, nodding to the colors of Team USA and adding a sense of urgency and heat to the design.
Nike adds a few personal touches that tie directly to Durant’s Olympic legacy. A small “EASY” stamp appears near the heel, Durant’s nickname in shorthand, and the insole features the Victory of Samothrace, a nod to triumph rooted in classical imagery.
