CB2 and Kravitz Design return this fall with a new capsule collection that celebrates a decade of creative partnership. Founded by musician and designer Lenny Kravitz, Kravitz Design has worked with the retailer since 2015, translating the studio’s architectural references and global influences into collections that move easily between culture and the home.
FURNITURE
The third collaboration introduces 62 new pieces, each merging Kravitz’s signature style with CB2’s approach to accessible design. European modernism, the Case Study Houses of Southern California, and the relaxed pace of Malibu all inform the collection’s direction. Kravitz himself notes the influence of International Style architecture, framing the release as an effort to distill the lessons of ten years of collaboration into designs that feel lasting and essential.
Furniture, lighting, and textiles are reimagined through a balance of sculptural forms and tactile finishes. Italian twill upholstery covers the Kanan Sofa and matching chair, offering understated luxury suited to everyday use. Breccia marble defines the Rohe Tables in dining, coffee, and side versions, with stainless steel bases nodding to architectural precision. The Rake Chair, one of Kravitz Design’s signatures, returns as a lounge version paired with an ottoman layered in suede.
Lighting pieces such as the Nagara lamp use bent steel, marble bases, and rice paper shades to cast a diffuse glow, while the hand-knotted Sirocco rugs bring softness and texture underfoot. Throughout, the collection’s palette, coffee, ivory, sand, charcoal, and steel, anchors the range in neutral tones punctuated by bold contrasts.
For Kravitz, the partnership continues to be about creating interiors that feel soulful while remaining functional. For CB2, it reflects the brand’s ability to bring high design into wider reach. Together, they present objects that move beyond trend to shape the atmosphere of the home with quiet power and global perspective.
