PURPLE Brand Launches Capsule for Historic Boxing Match

A tee, hoodie, and cap mark PURPLE Brand’s release tied to the Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford showdown on September 13.

PURPLE Brand has introduced a new capsule collection ahead of the Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight scheduled for September 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The limited release, titled Once in a Lifetime, ties directly to the historic nature of the matchup and distills the intensity of boxing into three core pieces: a graphic tee, a cap, and a hoodie.

The collection channels references to stone, myth, and boxing iconography. Each design reflects PURPLE Brand’s luxury streetwear identity while building on the magnitude of an event that has captured global attention.

The white graphic tee features the Once in a Lifetime lettering across the chest in distressed gothic typography, paired with sleeve accents. The back carries a large stone-inspired print of Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford in combat stance, framed with bold text announcing the fight date, September 13, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The black cap keeps the theme sharp and straightforward with Once in a Lifetime embroidered across the front panel in the same gothic typeface.

The black hoodie pushes the graphics further, with the Once in a Lifetime text centered on the chest and extended lettering down the sleeves. The back mirrors the tee’s design, showing Álvarez and Crawford etched into a stone-like relief, surrounded by the event details. Its oversized cut and heavyweight fabric deliver a strong streetwear presence while anchoring the piece in the energy of fight night.

The decision to title the capsule Once in a Lifetime underscores the rarity of the Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford matchup. For PURPLE Brand, the event provides a platform to anchor clothing in a specific moment of sports history while staying true to its elevated streetwear positioning. The use of stone textures and mythological undertones in the graphics brings a sense of weight to the collection, aligning the pieces with the spectacle and mythology that surround boxing’s biggest nights.

Distribution for the capsule will remain exclusive. Fans and collectors can access the pieces through Fanatics, WWE, UFC, and Allegiant Stadium retail partners. By tying the drop directly to the fight’s venue and established sports retailers, PURPLE Brand ensures the capsule connects immediately with the audience most invested in the event.
