Louis Vuitton introduces its Spring Summer 2027 Men’s Pre-Collection, designed by Men’s Creative Director Pharrell Williams under the theme Whatever the Weather. The collection explores how changing climates influence contemporary dressing, presenting a wardrobe for men travelling between cities, continents and different weather conditions. Williams approaches seasonal transitions through adaptable garments, practical accessories and unexpected material treatments, bringing together tailoring, sportswear and technical outerwear.
AD CAMPAIGNS
The collection draws inspiration from rainwear, outdoor clothing and the relationship between people and natural elements. Familiar menswear pieces receive new proportions, surfaces and functional details, while the House’s signature Monogram appears across clothing, footwear and luggage.

The Monogram Reporter theme introduces mixed-material constructions inspired by 1980s workwear. Coated canvas meets brown suede and leather across jackets, bags and footwear. A blue nylon puffer features debossed Monogram leather shoulder panels, while a reversible orange leather gilet incorporates coated canvas and suede.
Williams also revisits traditional rainwear through elevated materials. A puffer coat uses mini-Monogram jacquard tailoring fabric, while shiny calfskin transforms the familiar yellow fisherman’s slicker. A belted business suit introduces a relaxed silhouette, and reversible knitwear features cable patterns on one side and Monogram on the other. Practical details continue through a fleece blouson that packs into its front pocket, alongside cashmere interpretations of hoodies, T-shirts and polo shirts.
The collection explores trompe l’oeil techniques that give familiar materials unexpected appearances. Trompe L’Oeil Jersey uses printed leather to imitate the texture and appearance of grey cotton sweatshirts. The treatment appears on a zipped hoodie and several accessories, including the Keepall 50, Speedy 30 and Track backpack.

Other pieces explore similar visual effects. A silver-coated denim jacket resembles rain-soaked fabric, a cashmere suit imitates denim, and a shaved mink bomber recreates the appearance of chinchilla. Rubber spray creates artificial mud splashes across denim jackets and footwear.
Graphic elements include a cartoon following a businessman travelling from New York to Paris through changing weather. The narrative appears across shirting, denim, linings and leather accessories.
The Monogram Reporter collection extends into luggage through blue and yellow coated canvas, cognac suede details and varsity-style tags. The design appears across Keepalls, the Nil, Flaneur, Christopher and smaller travel accessories.

A Keepall 35 features glossy three-dimensional raindrops and a cloud-printed luggage tag. Another design takes the shape of an umbrella, directly referencing the collection’s weather theme.
Accessories include LV Lock sunglasses in a new Round Square silhouette, crocodile leather LV Heritage sunglasses, Monogram knitwear and colourful silver jewellery. The Louis Bear bag charm also appears wearing a miniature yellow raincoat.
Footwear continues the collection’s focus on adaptable materials and outdoor references. The LV Ranger walking boot combines suede, rubber and ripstop with a hiking sole. The LV Drop 300 sneaker introduces mohair, mesh and suede, while the LV Titled explores Monogram Reporter constructions and printed denim graphics. The LV Trainer returns in several versions, including colourful ripstop and nylon combinations, laser-printed Monogram treatments and Speedy Infinity graphics. Selected LV Trainer and LV Ranger designs feature rubber applications that imitate mud splashes.
