For Spring Summer 2026, Roberto Cavalli presents Gold Obsession, a collection designed by Fausto Puglisi that radiates boldness and sensuality. Gold, here, is a declaration of vision: precious, contemporary, and unapologetic, much like the women who embody Cavalli’s spirit.
SPRING SUMMER 2026
The collection channels an aesthetic rooted in freedom and instinct, a refusal to compromise. Against a backdrop of global noise, Cavalli reclaims consistency and identity through metallic glow and sensual form. Puglisi looked across eras and icons for inspiration, from Elizabeth Taylor’s Cleopatra to Nan Kempner’s elegance and Jane Birkin’s disheveled ease in Saint Tropez. These references converge into a narrative of multifaceted femininity, one that communicates immediacy even in its couture precision.

Materials drove much of the collection’s drama. Fil coupé, devoré, coated lace, liquid jersey, and three-dimensional jacquard shaped silhouettes with fluid movement. The fabrics carried the interplay of preciousness and effortlessness, draping into gowns and frocks that celebrated the liberating quality of clothing designed to inspire desire without restraint.
Denim took a commanding role, anchoring the collection in Cavalli’s tradition while updating it through experimentation. Low-waisted, bell-bottom silhouettes appeared with lace-up details, distressed finishes, and metallic coatings. Styled with fluid shirts or masculine jackets cut with generous volume, denim blurred the boundaries between casual energy and glamour. In eveningwear, denim was elevated further, transformed into bustiers set within gowns embroidered with intricate embellishment.

Highlights included pleated frocks and trenches animated by trompe l’oeil Iside prints, as well as a couture gown created by threading together different laces through suede to form Moorish-inspired motifs. The result was both daring and delicate, a testament to Cavalli’s ability to combine sensuality with technical mastery.

Accessories reinforced the house’s iconic symbolism. The snake, long a Cavalli emblem, appeared as heels for pointed mules, as sensual straps for pumps and sandals, and as piercing motifs for handbags. Jewelry echoed this serpentine energy, while playful micro bags connected directly to Serpentine, Cavalli’s fragrance, underscoring the continuity between scent, object, and identity.

With Gold Obsession, Roberto Cavalli asserts itself as a brand of freedom, instinct, and radiance. Puglisi’s vision revisits heritage while advancing it, creating a collection that thrives on daring choices, fluid femininity, and the enduring seduction of gold.
