Forever Is Now 05 opens on the Giza Pyramids Plateau with ten contemporary artworks presented by Art D’Égypte / Culturvator. Curated by founder Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, the fifth edition brings together a new group of international artists who examine the concept of “forever” through installations and large-scale sculptural forms. The exhibition remains on view until December 6, 2025.

Art D’Égypte / Culturvator organizes the project with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in collaboration with UNESCO. This framework reinforces the exhibition’s ambition to create a dialogue between contemporary practice and one of the most historically significant sites on earth.
The participating artists include Alex Proba (USA) with David Mahyari, known as SolidNature (Netherlands); Michelangelo Pistoletto (Italy); Alexandre Farto, known as Vhils (Portugal); Mert Ege Köse (Turkey); Recycle Group’s Andrey Blokhin and Georgy Kuznetsov (France and Russia); J-Park (South Korea); Nadim Karam (Lebanon); Ana Ferrari (Brazil); King Houndekpinkou (Benin and France); and Salha El Masry (Egypt). Each contribution uses material, scale and form to explore ideas linked to duration, memory and human presence.
The exhibition places contemporary works in direct conversation with the pyramids, prompting visitors to consider how the past and present interact in a setting defined by structures that have outlived entire civilizations. The installations address themes such as personal legacy, collective identity and the desire to leave physical or conceptual traces that extend into the future. Materials range from stone to mixed media, with each artist generating a distinct response to the site.
Nadine Abdel Ghaffar emphasizes the significance of reaching the fifth edition, noting that the project began as a vision and has expanded into an international platform. She describes Forever Is Now as a space where artists from diverse backgrounds gather before a landmark that has shaped global imagination for thousands of years. Her statement underscores the exhibition’s long-term ambition: to connect Egypt’s ancient achievements with contemporary voices and to encourage continued artistic exchange.
Forever Is Now 05 encourages visitors to consider how memory, ambition and creative expression shape human experience.
