Following its 25th anniversary, V Magazine opens 2026 with a cover led by global music star JENNIE. The Spring Preview 2026 issue, V158, places JENNIE at the center of the magazine’s first release of the year, framing the moment as both a forward-looking statement and a reflection on a defining period in her career.
COVERS
For the cover story, JENNIE steps into a retro “Mod” mood, setting the tone for the season ahead. Photographed by MAR+VIN and styled by V Magazine Senior Fashion Editor Anna Trevelyan, the shoot leans into graphic silhouettes and sharp styling that echo 1960s references while remaining firmly contemporary.

Inside the issue, JENNIE sits down with Mathias Rosenzweig for an intimate conversation that moves between personal reflection and creative momentum. As she prepares to turn 30 in January, the South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter, and actress speaks openly about closing out a major tour with Blackpink and entering a new phase of her artistic life. The interview also touches on her work in progress on her sophomore studio album, offering insight into how her sound continues to evolve.
“I lived my 20s with passion and love. Now, I just can’t wait for this new chapter of mine to open, not because I’m entering my 30s, but because there are so many exciting things that I’ve planned ahead,” JENNIE says. Elsewhere in the conversation, she reflects on her relationship with success, adding, “If someone asked me how I’m handling my success, I would say I’m not. I am proud of how far I’ve come and of all the work I’ve done. Just the fact that I get to look back at myself, dream bigger, and keep going, that’s my way of handling life.”

V158 arrives under the creative direction of Stephen Gan, with editorial support from Kev Ponce. The production brings together a large creative team, including hair by Gabe Sin, makeup by Sol Lee, manicure by Zola Ganzorigt, and casting by Greg Krelenstein, with set design by Isaac Aaron.
V Magazine’s V158 Spring Preview 2026 issue will hit global newsstands beginning January 16, 2026, and will also be available to order online via the magazine’s official store.
