Alejandra Alonso Rojas presents the Fall Winter 2026 collection, Metamorphosis, which prioritizes a sustainable approach by using leftover fabrics from previous seasons before sourcing new materials. This process follows the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly to reveal evolution. The design process involves various dyeing techniques and fabric manipulations, such as hand-pleating wet fabrics and applying heat to create organic effects inspired by Mariano Fortuny.

Alejandra Rojas worked exclusively with existing patterns for this range. She reshaped and draped these patterns to expand creative boundaries while minimizing waste. This transformation turns known materials into new garments. Select styles include hand-sewn flowers to symbolize beauty emerging from change. The collection changes existing fabrics into elegant and fresh pieces.

Rojas identifies Tina Chow as a primary muse for the collection. Chow invented minimal chic and mixed high couture with flea market finds. She approached fashion intellectually and collected Fortuny pieces. Additional inspiration comes from Audrey Hepburn, who defined femininity through individuality and refinement.
The collection features a palette of Gold, Olive, Carnation Red, and Primrose, alongside Bordeaux, Silver Blue, Ultramarine Blue, and Black to create an atmosphere reflecting transformation. Handmade fringes from Andalucía and Camariñas lace add depth and texture to the pieces, honoring Spanish tradition.

Collection 002 marks the transition for Alejandra Alonso Rojas to fully sustainable fabrications and certified mills. The brand focuses on transparency and responsibility. Every piece uses materials chosen for environmental stewardship. The collection utilizes luxurious fabrics with specific sustainability certifications. These materials include NAIA Acetate, which features a closed-loop process and FSC certification. The collection also incorporates silk certified by OEKO-TEX.
Metamorphosis invites viewers to experience a process beyond fashion, highlighting changes in production and creative thought through a plan for responsible luxury. By utilizing existing resources and traditional Spanish textures, the brand creates a new narrative for the Fall Winter 2026 season.
