MARGESHERWOOD introduces a new collaboration with Peanuts, translating one of the comic’s most tender moments into a collection shaped by wit, restraint, and emotional clarity. Titled Love Confession, the project takes its cue from Sally’s heartfelt letter to Linus, a small but resonant gesture that becomes the emotional backbone of the collection.

Margesherwood approaches the Peanuts universe through character and feeling. Sally’s directness, her courage in expressing affection without irony, is reimagined through the brand’s clean silhouettes and quietly playful design language. The result feels light, romantic, and grounded, capturing the sincerity of a first confession without exaggeration.

Across ready-to-wear, bags, and accessories, the personalities of the Peanuts characters surface through detail rather than overt illustration. Familiar references appear with restraint, allowing the collection to remain wearable and relevant to everyday life. The balance between character-driven charm and refined form gives the pieces a softness that feels intentional rather than sentimental.

Recurring motifs anchor the narrative. The phrase “For my sweet babboo,” Sally’s affectionate nickname for Linus, appears as a key element, paired with heart lace details that echo the vulnerability of handwritten love letters. These symbols are not treated as decoration alone, but as emotional markers, reframed through Margesherwood’s perspective to express affection with honesty and humor.
The collection’s strength lies in its ease. Romance is present, but never overstated. The designs suggest small moments of excitement woven into the ordinary, offering pieces that feel personal without becoming precious. It is a collaboration that understands how emotion can live quietly within design, carried through proportion, texture, and thoughtful placement rather than spectacle.

The Peanuts x Margesherwood collection launches on February 5 via the official Margesherwood website, the Seoul flagship store, and the Hannam store. From February 5 through March 31, the Seoul flagship will also host a pop-up installation, transforming the space into an immersive environment that reflects Sally’s confession through Margesherwood’s visual sensibility.

Internationally, the collection will roll out across select global retailers, beginning in Korea. A simultaneous pop-up at Lane Crawford Times Square marks the start of its wider release, followed by availability through CLUB21 in Singapore and Malaysia, Artifacts, STEFFL, Shopbop, and Spark Le Monde.

Love Confession is a study in emotional translation. By focusing on a single, quietly powerful moment from the Peanuts archive, Margesherwood demonstrates how intimacy, when handled with precision and care, can feel current, wearable, and deeply human.
