‘Up to the Sky’ unfolded on the 102nd floor of One World Observatory during New York Fashion Week Fall Winter 2026, bringing four Thai design voices into one of Manhattan’s most recognizable landmarks. Conceived as a meeting point between Bangkok and New York, the presentation set regional creativity against a global horizon, framing the work within a direct international exchange.

FALL WINTER 2026

Organized by WHAT DO YOU WANT NY? and 3NY, with support from the Department of International Trade Promotion through Thai Trade USA, the showcase placed ambition in clear view, elevating Thai fashion into a shared conversation above the city. The presentation gathered VICKTEERUT, Takara Wong Studios, Landmeé, and SARRAN under one title while allowing each brand to define its own direction.

VICKTEERUT built its collection around structure and memory. The designer revisited childhood paper-fold geometry and translated it into sharp tailoring and controlled silhouettes. Clean lines and deliberate proportions shaped garments that referenced early forms while asserting technical precision.

Takara Wong Studios drew from subculture as a source of cultural continuity. The collection channeled music, rebellion, and individuality into garments that prioritized character. The brand emphasized identity and attitude, allowing references to sound and community to inform the design language.

Landmeé approached the season through emotional energy and personal passion. The collection balanced intricate detail with softness and nostalgia, defining a vision of modern femininity rooted in sensitivity and confidence. Textural elements and refined finishing directed attention to craft and personal expression within each look.

SARRAN closed the runway with jewelry anchored in Thai identity and historical exchange. The pieces referenced diplomatic journeys of the past while marking the brand’s first appearance on the New York Fashion Week runway. Through material and form, SARRAN connected cultural memory with contemporary presence, concluding the presentation with focused clarity.

The evening included a moment of tribute in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. The acknowledgment formed part of the designers’ broader cultural reflection within the show and remained integrated into the overall program. A video message from announced model guest Vivian Wilson added a personal dimension to the presentation. She expressed support for the designers and shared in the momentum of the night.

The program showed how Thai fashion today operates across craft, experimentation, cultural reference, and global perspective. ‘Up to the Sky’ marked the most ambitious project realized by its organizers to date, framing Thai creativity within the international stage of New York Fashion Week.
