Han Kjøbenhavn introduces its Pre Autumn Winter 2026 collection under the title DISTRIKT, building the season around football culture and the mythology attached to players. Creative director Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen draws from his experience growing up around football culture, focusing on how fans collect objects and attach meaning to them over time. Shirts, cards, and posters become markers of identity, and the collection carries these references into a fashion context where their role shifts.
PRE-FALL 2026 COLLECTIONS
DISTRIKT focuses on the rituals tied to collecting and the emotional charge that follows. The garments take on a dual function as pieces of clothing and objects with stored associations. Han Kjøbenhavn extends the concept into its retail direction, where presentation mirrors systems familiar from sports memorabilia. A large-format nine-pocket collector sheet translates sports card formats into campaign imagery and artwork, while a postcard carousel presents DISTRIKT 37 visuals alongside original graphics.

Davidsen avoids comfort of nostalgia and instead draws attention to how past references resurface in ways that feel unresolved. The collection reflects this perspective through its treatment of familiar symbols, shifting them into a new setting without softening their original associations.
Silhouettes continue along the brand’s established line, combining structure with a relaxed fit. Outerwear defines the collection, led by the Diamond Twill Coat in water-repellent cotton twill and the Distrikt Bomber Jacket with padded construction and seasonal embroidery. Leather remains prominent through the Crunch Leather Biker Jacket and matching trousers, while the Casual Leather Bomber introduces a cleaner option within the same category.

Technical garments bring function into focus. The Crest Windbreaker and lightweight Technical Anorak introduce performance-driven elements, while knitwear and sweat pieces maintain oversized proportions with dropped shoulders. Bouclé logo knits, neoprene hoodies, and relaxed crewnecks reinforce this direction. Trousers follow a utility-driven approach through washed denim and cargo styles, grounding the collection in everyday use.
Graphic pieces focus on Danish football figure Ivan Nielsen, translating his presence into digital prints that range from artwork to portrait imagery. These designs appear on garments constructed in open-yarn single jersey, creating a washed, vintage surface. Relaxed and oversized fits maintain consistency across the graphic pieces.

The palette builds on black, dusty brown, dark grey, and muted greens, reinforcing the collection’s uniform-driven tone. DISTRIKT continues Han Kjøbenhavn’s ongoing focus on repetition and daily wear, presenting clothing shaped by routine and memory.
The collection will release online and in stores throughout April 2026.
