Serre and Thévenet develop the film together, building it around a poetic text that drives the narrative. The text follows instinct and freedom through a sequence of lived moments. She reacts to sound as it reaches her, letting it guide her next step. Each moment shapes a portrait of a woman who listens to herself and is guided by instinct, freedom and life.
The film develops through these sequences, where instinct replaces external direction. Expósito reacts to sensation and environment, shaping a character grounded in self-awareness. The text reinforces this approach, describing a person who listens inward and chooses her own path. Then music begins. She closes her eyes and starts to dance. Her body follows the sound. In these moments, the Marine Serre woman takes shape by her own decisions.
Momo Ndiaye stars alongside Expósito, bringing a grounded counterpoint to her presence. He moves within the same rhythm, staying close to her pace and reinforcing their connection.
