Chemena Kamali’s Spring 2027 pre-collection for Chloé pivots to one of the House’s most defining moments: the late 1990s, when legendary British Savile Row tailor Edward Sexton joined the Maison’s atelier as a tailoring expert. Sexton, best known for reinventing men’s tailoring in the late 60s and 70s while dressing the Beatles and Mick Jagger, brought the refined construction of Savile Row into dialogue with Chloé’s inherent femininity. Nearly three decades later, Kamali revisits that pivotal era, reinterprets its codes, and establishes tailoring as both heritage and continuous expression.
This season, tailoring reasserts itself through elongated jackets and three-piece suits that establish a refined new proportion within the Chloé wardrobe. Small hourglass jackets, micro riding coats, and crisp tailoring in grey mélange wool and white pinstripes are paired with lace-up waistcoats, cropped lingerie tops, and delicate flou pieces, creating silhouettes where structure and softness exist in natural balance. Fluid satin slips, garment-dyed lingerie dresses, and lace-encrusted pieces introduce movement and lightness, while a palette of pastel neutrals and sun-faded tones is punctuated by black and white. Black lace galons and trimmings lend depth and definition throughout.

Where Kamali’s creative vision becomes most apparent is in how these codes translate across the campaign. Photographer Brianna Capozzi channels the sensibility of Deborah Turbeville, dissolving the boundaries between fashion and emotion. Rather than narrative, Capozzi favors atmosphere. Women emerge through softened light and intimate interiors, suspended between memory and reality, their expressions suggesting emotion rather than explaining it. A tailored jacket becomes less about precision and more about the state of mind it evokes. A lace-trimmed waistcoat reads as vulnerability dressed in discipline.
The collection embodies what Gaby Aghion envisioned when she founded Chloé in 1952: a liberation from formal fashion, a belief that women should dare to be themselves. Under Kamali’s direction, that philosophy acquires new texture. Precision of construction and softness coexist. Discipline and spontaneity inhabit the same silhouette. The result is a femininity expressed through effortlessness, where sensuality remains understated and never excessive.
The Spring 2027 collection features legendary top model Alexa Chung, joined by Jessica Miller, Bruna Souza, Ella Valensi, Tong Tong Chen, Greta Hellborg, Gertrud Rose, and Clementine Murphy, and will be available in Chloé boutiques and on Chloe.com from November 2026.
