Fear of God presents The California 1.0 and Los Feliz, two footwear styles that carry the brand’s focus on restraint, comfort, and movement. The release brings back a familiar silhouette and introduces a new one, building a clear footwear story through molded shape, lightweight construction, and a direct connection to the California lifestyle.
SHOES
The California 1.0 first arrived in 2022 and now returns as a foundational Fear of God silhouette. The style keeps its original backless form, sculpted identity, and construction, while adding a refined surface treatment. A debossed California 1.0 logo marks the design, joined by the signature Fear of God Essentials bar.

The California 1.0 works through simplicity. Its shape avoids excess and focuses on proportion, volume, and ease. The backless construction gives the silhouette an open feel, while the molded body creates a clean, continuous form.
Los Feliz debuts as a new Fear of God style shaped by the same sense of ease. The shoe draws from the brand’s archive and introduces a molded form with a lightweight build. Fear of God describes the style through fluidity, precision, and everyday movement, giving Los Feliz a direct role within the house’s footwear direction.
Both styles use lightweight EVA with XL EXTRALIGHT technology. Fear of God injection-molds the material to create a sculptural finish, giving each shoe a soft feel underfoot while keeping the form stable over time. The material also adds water resistance, expanding how the styles function across daily settings.

Spring 2026 introduces Almond, Beige, Clay, Oyster, and Travertine, shades that sit naturally within Fear of God’s restrained palette. Summer 2026 adds Mineral for The California 1.0 and Overcast for Los Feliz.
Fear of God connects both styles to its ongoing expression of the California lifestyle. The California 1.0 returns with a familiar form and updated details, while Los Feliz enters the lineup as a new design with a light, molded structure. Designed in Los Angeles and handcrafted in Italy, The California 1.0 and Los Feliz are available online.
