Caitlin Clark is getting her own signature sneaker line at Nike, with the Caitlin 1 introducing the first basketball shoe created specifically around her game and identity. Caitlin 1 Racer Blue will lead the series when it arrives on October 1, giving Clark her first signature footwear release after several years with Nike Basketball.

Clark built her reputation at Iowa, where her shooting range and scoring ability turned her into one of the biggest names in college basketball. She finished her college career with 3,951 points, becoming the NCAA Division I all time leading scorer, before the Indiana Fever selected her with the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. Clark earned WNBA Rookie of the Year honors during her first season and joined the All WNBA First Team.

Her relationship with Nike began in 2022 during her junior year at Iowa. Clark regularly played in Nike Kobe sneakers during her college career, especially Kobe 5 and Kobe 6 Protro releases. Her rotation included the Kobe 5 Bruce Lee and Kobe 6 Reverse Grinch, and that connection continued after she joined Indiana. Nike later created Clark specific Kobe player editions, including designs linked to the Fever and pairs tied to individual points in her professional career.
Nike introduced Clark as a signature athlete in August 2025 and revealed her interlocking CC logo, confirming plans for footwear and apparel in 2026. Clark worked directly with the design team as the Caitlin 1 took shape, bringing details from her game, initials and jersey number into the finished shoe.

Caitlin 1 Racer Blue will give the public its first retail version of the Caitlin 1. The technical setup combines a responsive Air Zoom Turbo unit with Cushlon foam, creating cushioning for acceleration, step backs and landings. Nike Opticast forms the upper, using cast polyurethane to provide lightweight support and containment during play.
The Caitlin 1 also carries several details developed specifically for Clark. Double Swooshes reference her initials and the three-point arc, while molded 22s and CCs appear throughout the upper. Her signature appears on the heel, and her interlocking CC logo marks the midfoot. Both shoes carry the phrase “It was never a long shot.” The left adds “Shoot more threes,” while the right reads “From anywhere.”

Clark has already shown several other versions of the Caitlin 1. Yellow Zest, purple and predominantly white pairs have appeared during early previews, while WNBA All Star Weekend brought the metallic accented White Label pair and a separate multicolor All Star design. She later showed Hot Punch, which uses pink and red tones with blue branding. Some of those versions remain player editions or previews, while others are expected to reach retail as the Caitlin 1 series develops.
The newest preview arrived on court on August 10, when Clark revealed an Electric Green Caitlin 1. Electric Green covers much of the upper, joined by Varsity Maize, Dusty Cactus, Chlorophyll and Racer Blue details. Metallic gold accents appear around the CC branding, while the layered Swooshes introduce several contrasting shades. The pair carries style code IH7423-300 and currently appears on the 2027 release calendar, though Nike has yet to announce a specific launch date.
Nike will release the Caitlin 1 Racer Blue on October 1 for $140.
