adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams have introduced the VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish “Tan,” the latest colorway in their collaborative footwear series. Developed through Pharrell’s VIRGINIA platform, the new release continues the project’s focus on experimental design through one of adidas’ most distinctive contemporary silhouettes.

The latest version arrives in a monochromatic Tan colorway that places greater emphasis on the shoe’s shape and layered construction. The restrained palette keeps attention on the proportions of the Adistar Jellyfish, allowing its technical elements and sculpted form to define the overall look.
An engineered mesh upper forms the base of the design. A structural external cage wraps around the upper and gives the shoe a more defined framework, while also contributing to its futuristic appearance. The cage creates a clear visual contrast with the softer mesh underneath and strengthens the model’s distinctive profile.
The midsole takes inspiration from the fluid movement of a jellyfish. Its flowing shape gives the silhouette a pronounced base and supports the exaggerated proportions that have become central to the Adistar Jellyfish design. The Tan finish keeps the upper and sole visually connected, giving the entire shoe a more unified appearance.
Glow-in-the-dark accents add another layer to the release. Applied across the upper, these details become more visible in low-light settings and introduce a different effect once the surrounding light changes.

i am not suprised they made them in Tan, my first jellyfish Adidas is really not holding well…they look very dirty now and they are not easy to was. Didnt wear them in bad weather but just wearing them in New York doesn’t help, these are dust collectors. Sorry Pharrell.
