New York–based womenswear label DWARMIS presented its Spring Summer 2027 collection, titled AIRE, on September 13, 2026, at The Standard East Village during New York Fashion Week. Dominican designer Dwarmis Concepción builds the collection around the space between body and garment, focusing on what clothing reveals, what it protects and how much room it leaves around the wearer.
SPRING SUMMER 2027
Delicate lace and fluid fabrics introduce softness, while leather and firmer elements give the silhouettes greater definition. Concepción uses those material differences to create tension within the clothes and to vary how closely each piece relates to the body.

Cutaway sections, openings and wrapped construction determine the collection’s approach to exposure. Areas of bare skin interrupt familiar forms, while other sections provide coverage. Concepción leaves parts of several pieces unresolved, allowing open edges and wrapped details to remain visible within the silhouette.
Transparency gives the body another presence within the clothes. Texture and structure add variation to the garments, while the placement of fabric determines where skin remains visible. These choices allow reveal and concealment to become part of the construction itself.

Concepción treats air as room around the body instead of using it as a literal motif. The wearer retains space within each look, and the garments avoid excessive containment. That idea gives the collection its connection between sensuality and protection.
The result presents an intimate and assured view of femininity. Soft fabrics, firmer elements, exposed skin and open construction each serve a specific function within the collection, allowing Concepción to examine the relationship between clothing and the woman wearing it without separating the body from the design.
